Architectural Decorative Arts Program
Department Introduction
It is a four-semester higher
education program that aims to train qualified personnel who ensure the
operation of the repair works of buildings, palaces, mansions and mosques in
accordance with the architectural plan, wall decoration, etc., among painters,
sculptors, ceramic artists, interior architects and restoration experts, as
well as masters and workers.
The Purpose and Objectives of the Program
To train educated individuals
who take into account technological and artistic developments in their field,
possess knowledge for the future while being environmentally conscious.
The Graduates of the
Architectural Decorative Arts Program can work in the Ministry of Culture,
General Directorate of Foundations, General Directorate of National Palaces,
Municipalities, and Special Provincial Administrations. They can also work in
private institutions and offices related to the Study Project areas, and in addition
to the modern plastic art education they receive, which is focused on
application; Since they also receive courses such as Turkish Architecture,
Decoration, Restoration, Landscape, Ceramics, and Computer Design, they can
serve in these areas both as intermediate staff and independently in their own
workplaces and workshops.
Post-Graduation Career Areas
Graduates of the Architectural
Decorative Arts Program can work in the Ministry of Culture, General
