Jewellery and Jewellery Design Program
Department Introduction
Jewellery and Jewellery Design accepted students for the first time in
the 2005-2006 academic year. Its aim is to train the workforce to work in all
kinds of jewellery design and production. In the program, where courses such as
basic art education, technical drawing, jewellery design, and jewellery making
techniques are taught, aesthetics and creativity are at the forefront. Students
successfully represent the vocational school with the jewellery they produce as
a result of meticulous and careful work.
The Purpose and Objectives of the Program
The aim of the Jewellery and Jewellery Design Program is to train
technical staff who are capable of producing in the industrial sector. To
provide students with all the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills
required for jewellery design and applications.
In the program, where courses such as basic art education, technical
drawing, jewellery design, and jewellery making techniques are taught,
aesthetics and creativity are at the forefront. The students, who enrich the
education given in the technical field with artistic and aesthetic values, are
also provided with the direction of the sector with the designs they create in
the computer environment. It aims to train professional staff who can make
three-dimensional designs in the jewellery sector and put their designs into
production.
