Introduction
In
today's business life, senior managers of businesses need cultured Office
Managers who organize internal and external communication, control
documentation, speak a foreign language, have business and basic legal
knowledge and skills, have the ability to speak, and know social etiquette. The
Office Management and Executive Assistant program is a 2-year, 4-term program
that trains the students for business life in every field, from micro
businesses to macro businesses. The students who graduate from this field have
the opportunity to work in the fields of office management, executive
assistant, and office services. The graduates receive the title of "Office
Management and Executive Assistant Professional."
The Purpose
and Objectives of the Program
The
aim of the program is to train office professionals for public and private sector
enterprises. During the education, students are provided with basic secretarial
knowledge and skills as well as the knowledge and skills to use technology. The
students who complete the program are awarded an associate degree and the title
of Executive Secretary. The main aim of the department is to contribute to the
employment levels of graduates in private sector and public institution
offices.
Post-Graduation Career Areas
The graduates have the opportunity to work in both private and public sector organizations. Many institutions that hire personnel through the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) employ graduates of the Office Management and Executive Assistant Program. The graduates, who know how to use a computer, have office management skills, strong communication skills, and are equipped with professional correspondence knowledge, can also work in private sector organizations.
